“I’ve always had a love for photography as well as people, so when I was choosing my profession back in high school, I decided to put my love for both people and photography together and went to college to become the best portrait photographer I could. I finished my degree, mentored with Master Photographers in my area and began entering print competition to better my skills. In 1994, I opened Accent Photography and continued to strive to always be improving my craft with my passion for photography. Working with people through the years has taught me about human nature and how to bring out the best in a person with their portrait. Whether it’s a portrait on-location, in the studio or a wedding, I do my best to relax whomever I am photographing to make sure they have the best experience having their portrait taken. Most people are nervous being photographed, that’s why it’s so important to have a rapport so that you work well together. Knowing how to utilize the correct lighting, posing and background in any image is extremely important and that comes with experience. I’ve done my utmost to give my clients beautiful photography that they can treasure for years.
Besides my love for photography, my number one love is my daughter, Bella. You may see her around my studio helping out, but mostly you’ll probably see her through the pages of the website as she is (and probably will always be) my favorite subject!”
